Flow Diverter

A flow diverter is an endovascular prosthesis used to treat intracranial aneurysms. It is placed in the main artery of the aneurysm and covers the neck to redirect blood flow and detect progressive sac thrombosis. Flow-directing stents consist of structural wires made of a cobalt-chromium or nitinol alloy and often a series of radiopaque wires woven into a flexible braid.
